Since Rob Thomas first took to the stage in 2010 he has quickly progressed to become one of the country's most promising up and coming comics.
With places in the final of some of the most prestigious new act competitions, Rob has established himself as a brilliant comedian, and he is now working for some of the biggest comedy clubs in the country.
“Bellowing, insistent, wonderful” - The Skinny
Edy Hurst is a nice boy doing the best with what he's got; a guitar, a loop pedal and a might-do attitude, combining short, punch-line filled musical comedy with a skewed oddball take on the world.
With jokes that creep up on you, Edy is fast becoming an exciting new addition to the comedy circuit with a unique and intelligent take on stand music comedy expectations.
Edy was nominated for the BBC New Comedy Award in 2017, and was a finalist for the Great Yorkshire Fringe New Act competition in the same year. He's also been a finalist in several other competitions in his time on the comedy circuit.
“An abstract guitar-playing impish minstrel of a man, Edy is a joyous comic to behold. All unabashed grins and oddball lingo he’s sure to enchant” - Manchester Wire
“Full to the brim with ideas” - Broadway Baby
“A real gem” - York Press
Throughout his time on the comedy circuit, Pete Phillipson has been involved in a number of competitions, including winning Mr Bens New Comedian of the Year and reaching the final of the English Comedian of the year 2014. Pete also performed a fantastically well received show at the 2012 Edinburgh Festival with fellow comic Lewis Charlesworth and recently has been lucky enough to share a bill with Ross Noble and Russell Kane.
Originally from Lincolnshire but based in Manchester Pete has been building a name for himself on the circuit as a very funny act over the last few years. Pete mixes fast paced observations and routines with wonderful characterisations, making him a hit with audiences all over the country.
“A fantastic addition to any comedy bill” - Buzz Comedy
“A great act with a big future” - Laughing Stock Comedy
