Hilarity Bites presents Steve Day & Steve Bugeja

Show details:

Steve Day

Steve Day: Adventures in Dementia (Work in Progress)

Steve's dad has Alzheimers. There's nothing he can do about it except remember the way he was.

Steve has also been deaf since his teens but has new hearing aids so now he's gone through all the music of his youth. It reminds him of his dad.

There's nothing else for it but to defy dementia, with music, songs and laughter. Laugh, cry, sing along if you want. If you like bittersweet comedy about deafness and memory loss then this is the show for you.

“warm, funny, frank and thought-provoking” - The Scotsman

“Revelatory and very funny” - The Guardian

“Laugh-out-loud funny, compelling and sensitive” - ★★★★★ - Chortle

Steve Bugeja: Almost (Work in Progress)

Voted at school 'Most Likely to be Forgotten'. The reunion was in February, apparently.

BBC New Comedy Award winner returns to the Darlington Comedy Festival following three critically acclaimed shows.

As seen on Stand Up Central (Comedy Central), Love Island Aftersun (ITV2), and Comedy Up Late (ABC TV) at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

“Drum tight, as if polished by a sitcom writers’ room to cram as many jokes in as humanly possible” - Chortle

“An eye for comic detail that’s all his own” - The Guardian

“Plentiful jokes and compelling storytelling” - The Scotsman
