Hilarity Bites Comedy Club feat. Matt Reed, Lauren Pattison, Kelsey de Almeida, and host Ray Bradshaw
Born and bred in Sunderland, Matt's affable style has won him fans across the UK. He effortlessly plays with the crowd with a natural rapport that is found in few comics. Matt, always ready, never disappointing will always make a good gig - great.
In 2015 Matt took his debut show to the Edinburgh Fringe, retelling the four year ordeal of how he was stalked and cat-fished by an online admirer. The show won rave reviews from critics and audience alike, with Matt playing to sell-out audiences.
With so many gigs of every size under his belt, from audiences of 3000 to 30, there is pretty much no comedy situation Matt can't handle. As pleasant as he is wonderfully brutal, Matt is a welcome addition to any comedy night entertaining the crowd while skillfully destroying any heckler that crosses his path.

Lauren Pattison is one of the brightest young talents on the comedy scene. She came runner up at the Funny Women Awards 2014 and in 2015 was the only female comedian to reach the final of the Chortle Student Comedy Awards. In August 2016 Lauren reached the final of the 2016 BBC Radio New Comedy Award competition, and in 2017 she was runner-up in the English Comedian of the Year competition, following a nomination for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards.
Following her success in competitions, she has performed at the last two Latitude festivals, and has also supported TV favourite Katherine Ryan on several tour dates, and opened for Stewart Francis. A regular on the North-East circuit, this baby faced comic is one to watch out for.

Having made his comedy debut in September 2008, Ray has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting new acts on the comedy circuit. A two time Scottish Comedian of The Year finalist, Ray has travelled the lengths and breadths of the country telling jokes to anyone that will listen, making his name as an MC for various promoters.
Ray’s solo show, “I Dare Ray To…” has been performed to sell-out audiences at the Glasgow Comedy Festival in 2013 and 2014, and the Adelaide Comedy Festival and Edinburgh Festival in 2015. Ray has also been selected as tour support for several big name acts of late, and was the exclusive support for Ardal O’Hanlon’s 2014 tour of Scotland, as well as supporting Des Clarke on several tour dates.
