Gavin Webster, Phil Pagett, and host Rob Mulholland
2014 Comedian's Comedian of the Year winner
Gavin Webster has been on the rise. He’s been on the rise for over twenty years. After making his modest debut in a pub in Gateshead in February 1993 he's done about three thousand gigs from Aberdeen to Abu Dhabi, Manchester to Melbourne and Hartlepool to Hong Kong.
Gavin Webster's shows are high octane, close to the bone and quick fire, with many gag to the minute routines, peppered with sardonic songs that are finished by the time you decide you need to complain about them. Black humour, observations and moronic jokes complete the unique and stand-alone experience of seeing this greatly original, angry comedian.
Very much the last ever punk rocker, people that take to Gavin Webster are fans for life and stay loyal to him throughout. His unique style has brought him praise and attention from throughout the national media, as well as many roles on TV and radio, including an appearance on Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
“Funny, clever and as brilliantly observed as you’ll find” - The Scotsman

“His daftness is little short of surreal genius” - The Stage
Phil Pagett is a one-liner comedian and joke-writer, described by Mock the Week's Gary Delaney as "one of the country's best new gag writers".
Hailing from Birmingham, and with a set comprised solely of killer one-liners, Phil's ability to craft and deliver a gag has made him a popular addition to any comedy night since he started out in comedy in early 2009. A quickfire gag-merchant in the tradition of Stewart Francis, Milton Jones and Emo Philips, Phil's act was described by Funhouse Comedy as "an unusual routine of, smartly crafted and vastly diverse one-liners that takes his audiences on an amusingly clever ride".
“One of the country's best new gag writers” - Gary Delaney
“Fantastic one-liners - One To Watch” - Nottingham Comedy Festival
“We were very, very impressed when we first saw Phil, he's a natural stand-up whose dedication to the one-liner pays off by the bucket load” - Abbcom Comedy
One of the fastest rising new comedians on the circuit, Rob Mulholland fell into comedy after finding a flyer looking for acts to appear at Harrogate Comedy Festival on the ground outside his front door. In the two years since, he has clocked up a huge amount of gigs all over the country ranging from tiny pubs to massive theatres (even performing to 2,000 bikers at an outdoor festival!), and can now be seen most weekends in some of the biggest comedy clubs in the country.
Just as at home as an act or compere, Rob mixes cheeky audience banter with his intricately woven, gag-packed stories; adding a touch of the absurd to his askance glance at everyday life. Rob is 17 feet tall, made of steel and can jump over a mini cooper from a standing start.
Rob is the current Hilarity Bites New Act of the Year, and after finishing runner-up in this year’s Great Yorkshire Fringe New Act of the Year competition has awarded himself the title of "Yorkshire’s Funniest Non-Musical Comedian". He was one half of the anarchic, late-night, yurt-based show #BlurredMinds at the 2015 Edinburgh festival and premiered his first solo show ‘Champion of Comedy’ at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2016.
“Very, very tall and equally as talented” - Time Out
