Hilarity Bites Comedy Club feat. Bobby Mair, Gary Tro, and host Andy Fury
Bobby Mair is a disturbingly exciting comedian, having graced our screens on Channel 4’s 8 out of 10 Cats and BBC3’s Russell Howard’s Good News. He was the opening act at the 2014 NME Awards and he also appeared on post-Edinburgh Fringe best of highlights show, Seann Walsh’s Late Night Comedy Spectacular. His most recent assault on our TV screens shows him kissing audience members on the current series of Sweat the Small Stuff for BBC3. Bobby has also appeared several times at ‘Just For Laughs’ in Montreal, including taping a Best of the Fest gala with ‘roastmaster’ Jeff Ross.
Bobby can be seen on Live At The Comedy Store for Comedy Central, Alex Zane’s Funny Rotten Scoundrels: Live from the Century Club, and Viceland's Bobby and Harriet Get Married.
Bobby has supported US comedy royalty Bill Burr and Doug Stanhope, and he’s also professionally trolled Julian Assange and Katie Hopkins which garnered him over 500,000 hits and an article in the Washington Post.
“There is always a massive laugh just dying out or just about to start up” - Chortle
“A bona fide tour de force” - The Guardian
“He's either going to be a huge international star or the funniest homeless man ever” - Jimmy Carr
As seen on BBC iPlayer and heard on BBC Radio 4, stand-up Gary Tro is an exciting breakthrough act making waves on the UK and international comedy circuit with his joyously angry and hilariously anarchic style of comedy.
In addition to stand-up, Gary is something of a gifted all-rounder with skills including acting, presenting and voice over work. He’s also a talented improviser and performs as one half of nerd-culture double act The Just Us League
A regular on the touring circuit, in 2017 Gary supported Tez Ilyas on national tour and took his own show ‘SupercalifragilisticexpiGaryTrocious’ to festivals all across the UK and at the Charleston Comedy Festival USA. In 2018, Gary made his Australian touring debut with his new show ‘Gary Tro-ke Karaoke’.

Despite starting comedy out of “sheer boredom” just a few years ago, Andy Fury has impressed a lot of people in a short space of time with a wonderful mix of self-deprecating dark jokes and off the wall surrealism.
With a laidback stage presence that sometimes borders horizontal, he’s as hard-working as he is funny and winning the Hilarity Bites New Act Of The Year 2010 title has put Andy on the path to working at many of the best clubs in the country, wowing audiences the length and breadth of the UK.
“An absolute genius of a comedian” - BBC
