His 2023 Edinburgh Fringe show was a complete sell out run with 4 and 5 star reviews. Meanwhile, he's performed on BBC Scotland's television show The Comedy Underground, supported Tom Stade and Rachel Fairburn on tour, co-created the online (Scottish Comedy Award-winning) sitcom MUFF alongside Daniel Sloss, and has also written and performed content for BBC Short Stuff.

Clayton has been performing comedy since 2013 and has established himself as a regular on the UK comedy circuit including shows at the Edinburgh Festival 2015 and Leicester Comedy Festival 2017 alongside appearances at all the top comedy clubs.
An observational comedian with an hilarious take on everyday life with very cleverly crafted comedy, Clayton’s act covers everyday topics of marriage, kids, being mixed raced, school life, and growing up in London.
In 2014 Clayton was a finalist in the Southport Comedian of the Year, Frog & Bucket World Series and Liverpool Comedian of the Year. In 2017 he was the winner of the Last Minute Comedy Comedian Of The Year and a finalist in the English Comedian Of The Year.

An award winning film maker and former Scottish Comedian of the Year runner-up, having proven his comedy metal in some of the most formidable environments Scotland has to offer, including T in the Park, Rockness, and The Wickerman Festivals, Rick Molland is the former resident compère at Edinburgh's Monkey Barrel Comedy Club.
