31 October @ 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm
Show rearranged from Saturday 18th April 2020.
Hilarity Bites Comedy Club feat. Gary Delaney, George Egg, and host Karen Bayley
As seen on Live at the Apollo, and as a series regular on Mock the Week, Gary Delaney is the UK's premier gagsmith.
Gary's recent UK tours have taken in over 200 dates apiece, with audiences around the country eager to see why he is seen as the premier one-liner comedian of his generation.
Through Twitter and TV he’s become one of the most quotable comedians in the country. He loves each and every gag and you can’t help but be carried away by his infectious charm. He’s like a cheeky schoolboy who can barely hide his glee with each and every punch line.
Gary recently won Celebrity 15 to 1, and has been seen on Celebrity Mastermind, Pointless Celebrities, and Celebrity University Challenge for team LSE, with his old university mate Martin Lewis (from MoneySavingExpert.com) who encouraged Gary to make his comedy bow. His other TV and radio credits include Robert’s Web (Channel 4), Loose Ends (BBC Radio 4) and Russell Kane’s Whistle-Stop Tour (BBC Radio 2).
A regular on Mock The Week, he has won two Sony Awards, as well as receiving a Chortle Award nomination. He’s also a regular writer for shows including Cats Does Countdown, A League Of Their Own, and The Royal Variety Performance, and his jokes have twice appeared in Dave's Top 10 Funniest Jokes from the Edinburgh Fringe.

“Gary Delaney has more quality jokes in one hour than many comics have in their entire careers… quite brilliant” - The Scotsman
Wildly brandishing the worlds' second largest briefcase containing a battery of ridiculous props, George bounds onto the stage to perform one of the most original, interesting, innovative, and sweetly whimsical comedy performances you are ever likely to see. A true cross between modern alternative stand-up comedy and old-school music hall variety.
George Egg has been a professional stand-up comedian for the last two decades. He has an extremely successful solo show with which he has toured in Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Austria, France, Hong Kong, New Zealand and even India, as well as extensively in the United Kingdom both on the stage and on the television. More recently George has been the support act for Lee Mack, Micky Flanagan, and Jack Dee.
“A hugely entertaining variety turn” - The Guardian
“It is refreshing to encounter a performer who really is unique” - The Telegraph
“a genius... he is the friendly face of anarchy, the anarchic face of food and the foodie face of comedy” - Scotland on Sunday
Karen began her comedy career back in 2000 and since then has gone from strength to strength. Her bold, no nonsense attitude strikes a perfect pitch with men and women alike, and she is equally at home compering or performing sets.
Karen is also resident compere of her own clubs in Sutton Coldfield and Solihull, with her claim to fame to date being that she was the first woman (in its history) to win the King Gong show at The Comedy Store.
Karen has also worked in TV and radio, including appearances on the BBC New Comedy Awards (BBC3), The Last Word (ITV1), Sex on the Job (Sky 1), and 100 Greatest Cartoons (Channel 4).
