He’s performed two solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe\, seven Melbourne International Comedy Festival solo shows and he’s completed three tours of duty to entertain Australian\, UK\, US and Canadian Armed Forces personnel serving in the Middle East. \n“Mick Neven’s stand-up is so slick... he’s seriously entertaining” - The Age \n“He delivers a performance with punch\, humour and a heart” - The Herald Sun \n“Hang on to your seatbelts\, it’s a rollercoaster Wizard of a ride from Oz” - The International Times \n  \n \nDanny Deegan\nDanny Deegan is a comedian\, writer and actor who began performing in 2003 and has since risen steadily through the ranks of some of the most prestigious comedy clubs in the UK. DESCRIPTION:Hilarity Bites Comedy Club feat. Christian Reilly\, Hayley Ellis\, Sam Gore\, and host Rick Molland\nShow details:\n \nChristian Reilly\nChristian Reilly is both a Perrier and Chortle award-winning musical comedian with “sex\, politics and rock 'n' roll” (The Scotsman) in the key of grrr. \nAs a former integral part of the Perrier award-winning show Otis Lee Crenshaw and the Black Liars\, with comic/songster Rich Hall\, Christian's career has taken him around the world three times. On his way\, he received accolades at international festivals and numerous network TV credits in the USA\, Australia\, New Zealand and Britain. \nNow a solo stand-up performer\, and headlining all the major comedy venues in his own right\, Christian uses his dynamic guitar and vocal skills to target histrionic rock bands\, musical theatre and morose indie musicians. He wrote and performed for 'That Was Then This Is Now' (BBC Radio 2) as musical counterpart to Richard Herring and Emma Kennedy\, as well as giving his improvisation skills an outing on Radio 2's 'Jammin'. \n“Blisteringly funny songs” - The Stage \n“If you’re a fan of Bill Bailey or Rich Hall\, you’re a Christian Reilly fan already” - The Guardian \n“The funniest songs I’ve heard in a long time” - The Scotsman \n  \n \nHayley Ellis\nEdinburgh Fringe: 25 funniest jokes of all-time - The IndependentEdinburgh Fringe: Best 21 jokes told at the festival in the last decade - The Mirror\nManchester comedian and former regular contributor to XFM’s breakfast show\, Hayley Ellis has gone from strength to strength since she began performing. \nA regular MC at gigs around the country\, Hayley’s natural warmth and charm make her impossible to dislike\, something which has become evident in her success in new act competitions throughout the UK. \nHayley has also become a regular sight gag contributor for the Russell Howard’s Good News television programme\, and has appeared on MTV’s “Why aye love Geordie Shore” and “Comedy Set Lists” for Virgin television. She can also sometimes be heard on your wireless (Absolute Radio)\, and her sketches and jokes have appeared on Newsjack (Radio 4).
\n“Ellis is a talent” - Fest \n“Hayley Ellis always makes me laugh off and on stage” - Sarah Millican \n“A great hour of stand-up” - Northern Soul \n  \n \nSam Gore\nA confident and original young act with a brilliant command of language\, Sam’s been wowing crowds and rapidly climbing the comedy ladder. Having cemented his position as one of the best new performers on the circuit with no less than five New Act of the Year titles (including the Hilarity Bites title in 2008)\, he’s gone on to impress everywhere from weekend clubs to music festivals\, biker rallies and theatres. \nSam made his solo debut at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2015\, winning plaudits from audiences for his show "The Cryptid Crossword"\, whilst also appearing in the highly regarded AAA Comedy showcase at The Pleasance. In 2010 Sam appeared in the double-header show A Calculated Risk as part of the Free Festival. In 2011 he returned to the Fringe as part of the Amused Moose Laugh-Off showcase\, having won his way through to the final of that competition as well. Sam is also a hugely accomplished writer\, plying his trade on shows such as Russell Howard's Good News and Chris Addison's Show & Tell. \n“The jokes are as cruel as they are funny\, i.e. very... a class act indeed” - Chortle \n“Superbly crafted gags that showcase a vivid use of imagery and language... great wordplay\, refreshing honesty and a wonderfully dark view of life” - Giggle Beats \n  \n \nRick Molland\nNot many Englishmen can cut it as an MC in a Scottish Comedy Club - but that's exactly what Rick Molland did every weekend of the year for years. \nAn award winning film maker and former Scottish Comedian of the Year runner-up\, having proven his comedy metal in some of the most formidable environments Scotland has to offer\, including T in the Park\, Rockness\, and The Wickerman Festivals\, Rick Molland is the former resident compère at Edinburgh's Monkey Barrel Comedy Club. \n“no-holds-barred comedy” - Edinburgh Evening News \n“perfect for the role of compere” - Three Weeks \n“ audacious” - The Scotsman \n  \n\nBuy tickets:

DESCRIPTION:Hilarity Bites Comedy Club feat. Paul ‘Silky’ White\, Keith Carter\, Amy Gledhill\, and host Dave Twentyman\nShow details:\n \nPaul 'Silky' White\nSilky has been a full time comedian since 1997. He did his first gig in 1994\, and his fourth gig (the final of the 1995 BBC New Comedy Awards alongside Lee Mack\, Daniel Kitson and Julian Barratt) was shown on BBC1’s Stand-Up Show. Other awards he has failed to win include the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year (prize-winning runner-up 2000)\, the Liverpool Echo Arts and Entertainment Award (the only person to be nominated twice: always the sodding bridesmaid). \nSilky has performed internationally\, including gigs in China\, the Philippines\, the Gulf\, Singapore\, the US\, the Melbourne Comedy Festival\, and all over Europe\, including at the Glastonbury Festival\, where no-one lobbed bottles of wee\, much to his relief. He performed at the 2004 God’s Kitchen Global Gathering\, the 2005 Big Bang at Santa Pod\, and in the houseband for the Kilkenny Festival. Silky is also a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe\, where he plays to full houses every year at The Stand Comedy Club. \n“...a very\, very funny fella... just brilliant” - John Bishop \n“One of the comedy circuit’s most popular headliners... on the cusp of superstardom” - Yorkshire Life \n“Among the best of the circuit... born funny” - City Life \n“Always brilliant” - Metro \n  \n \nKeith Carter\nKeith Carter is known as one of the best character comedians on the circuit\, so much so that many have not known he was in character. He doesn’t rely on wigs and silly costumes\, Carter relies on sincerity. His most famous creation Nige has gained cult status amongst comedy fans and comedians alike and is seen as a comedy icon in his native Liverpool. \nHis unique ability to improvise and interact with an audience whilst delivering a perfectly honed set of belly-laugh gags and hilariously surreal stories has taken him across the globe\, as well as working with\, amongst others\, Sean Lock\, Reginald D. Hunter\, Ricky Gervais\, and Russell Brand. \nCarter can count Johnny Vegas and Jon Richardson as fans of his work. His contemporaries like him so much that Steve Coogan’s company\, Baby Cow\, paid for his one man show Edinburgh run in 2012 and Craig Cash’s company\, Jelly Legs\, paid to make a half hour teaser pilot to be shown at the BBC of one of Carter’s characters. \n “A character comic of rare skill” - The Guardian \n“Carter is in danger of becoming huge” - Chortle \n“Surely this man will have a sitcom in a few years time” - Metro \n  \n \nAmy Gledhill\nCaroline Aherne bursary winner 2018\nNative Hullensian Amy Gledhill has collated the kind of awards portfolio that would shame a seasoned pro. \nBrimming with natural warmth and charm\, Gledhill takes the audience with her on a journey through hilarious stories and off-beat observations\, leaving everybody feeling they've just made a new friend. \n

Not just a solid standup\, Gledhill has also been turning her Midas touch to sketch as one half of The Delightful Sausage\, who have just returned from the Edinburgh Fringe after an incredible debut year\, hoovering up stars\, acclaim and more importantly - gin. \n“Silly\, vivacious and very funny” - Richard Herring \n“Deftly balances the daft with the intelligent” - The Skinny \n“Commands the stage. Incredibly accomplished” - Funny Women \n  \n \nDave Twentyman\nAffable\, quick-witted banter merchant\, Dave Twentyman survived a childhood in St Helens by evolving rapid\, startlingly-bright patter and a smile that he somehow stole from Barry Manilow. This is a man who could teach Teflon a trick-or-two but who remains vastly more fun than your average frying-pan. What higher praise can there be? \nNo matter what your mood\, you really can't help but warm to Dave. He puts a big smile on everyone's face. His chatty\, cheeky style endears him to the toughest of crowds. Dave talks a lot about the subjects closer to home\, such as family life & friends. Its lighthearted\, positive fun\, you can't help relating to. \nA regular performer at many of the best weekend clubs in the country\, Dave has also performed at a number of music festivals over the years such as Leeds\, V Festival\, Download\, etc \n “Thoroughly impressed\, best I've seen in ages. Great warmth and style” - Dave Spikey \n“F**king Brilliant” - John Bishop \n“Really like his stuff” - Jason Manford \n  \n\nBuy tickets:
