In 2015 he won the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year (an award also won by acts such as Johnny Vegas\, Jason Manford\, Rhod Gilbert and Romesh Ranganathan) which he never stops banging on about. \nTom was also a BBC Radio New Comedy Award finalist and his 2018 Edinburgh show was nominated for the Amused Moose Comedy Award. Wrightson’s work often draws on her dual Asian and British heritage. \nFrom humble (AKA very skint) beginnings growing up in Bradford\, Seeta has wandered through life wondering where exactly she fits and has had a hell of an adventure figuring it out. And it is a never-ending stream of ridiculousness that provides the fodder for her comedy. \n“She has jokes as fierce as her outfits.
