DESCRIPTION:Hilarity Bites Comedy Club feat. Paul ‘Silky’ White & Tony Cowards\nShow details:\n \nPaul 'Silky' White\nSilky has been a full time comedian since 1997. He did his first gig in 1994\, and his fourth gig (the final of the 1995 BBC New Comedy Awards alongside Lee Mack\, Daniel Kitson and Julian Barratt) was shown on BBC1’s Stand-Up Show. Other awards he has failed to win include the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year (prize-winning runner-up 2000)\, the Liverpool Echo Arts and Entertainment Award (the only person to be nominated twice: always the sodding bridesmaid). \nSilky has performed internationally\, including gigs in China\, the Philippines\, the Gulf\, Singapore\, the US\, the Melbourne Comedy Festival\, and all over Europe\, including at the Glastonbury Festival\, where no-one lobbed bottles of wee\, much to his relief. He performed at the 2004 God’s Kitchen Global Gathering\, the 2005 Big Bang at Santa Pod\, and in the houseband for the Kilkenny Festival. Something of a Twitter sensation\, Tony's jokes turn up in all sorts of places\, from greetings cards to The Times newspaper\, even if you've never heard of him there's a good chance that you'll have laughed at one of his gags. \nTony’s likable ‘everyman’ character and wide ranging humour (mostly clean) means he is comfortable in front of any audience and is regularly booked for comedy nights for the military\, universities\, sports clubs\, festivals and after-dinner work. People must sit in their own group\, and people won’t be able to move seats to sit with other groups.\nPlease do not arrive more than twenty minutes before showtime.\nAudience will need to wear face masks (if not exempt) when moving around the venue\, but once seated then they can be removed.\nThere will be a bottle and spirits bar available on the night\, and all drinks will be served via table service with contactless payments required.\nPlease stick to and maintain social distancing at all times. There will be a one-way system and signage throughout the venue to help with this.
