Hilarity Bites Comedy Club feat. Craig Murray, Scott Bennett, and host Ross Brierley
Familiar to millions as the face of PlusNet Broadband, and hailing from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire (a town otherwise famous for international terrorists, fake kidnaps and 'Britain's Best Market'), charming northerner Craig is currently one of the hottest talents on the comedy circuit.
Craig cut his comedy teeth as resident compere at award-winning London club The Funny Side... of Covent Garden sharing a stage with some of the very best comedy acts in the business including Harry Hill, Stewart Lee and even Hollywood legend Robin Williams. He rapidly became a master of the compere's art; able to turn any crowd from a lacklustre mob into a clapping, cheering, delirious audience ready to laugh all night.
An instant crowd pleaser with a charismatic, mock-confrontational style, Craig is now a highly sought-after act and compere, performing all over the UK.
“...a great line in Northern humour” - Spoonfed
“Craig Murray knows his comedy roots... his material was well presented [and] recognisably funny” - Chortle
“Bloody funny” - Jo Brand

Best show Nominee Leicester Comedy Festival 2019
Amused Moose Edinburgh Comedy Award Nominee
Stylishly shirted, Yorkshire-born Scott Bennett is a multi-award winning act, and one of the most popular headliners currently performing in the UK. Delivering wry observations on the absurdity of modern living, his sharply-written routines, drawn from real-life experiences have been delighting audiences across the country; except in Yorkshire, where they are deeply suspicious of his shirts.
In 2018 and 2019 Scott was tipped as one of the "ones to watch" by respected industry online magazine, Chortle, following a series of highly rated solo shows, award nominations, and a high-profile tour support slot with TV's Rob Brydon.
As well as working as a succesful stand up comic in his own right, Scott has written for high profile acts including Jason Manford, is a writer for The Chris Ramsey show for Comedy Central and has written for the News Quiz on BBC Radio 4.
He has also featured on the BBC Radio 4Extra podcasts, "The Comedy Club" with Arthur Smith and "Knock Knock" with Helen Lederer.
“Fabulous turns of phrase and pungent expressions, superb character creations” - Chortle
“Great material, great delivery, a very funny man” - Rob Brydon
“Brilliantly funny, a joy to watch” - Chris Ramsey
Ross Brierley is an award-winning comedian, chat show host and MC hailing from Leeds. A regular on the northern circuit since 2012, he was a finalist in several new act competitions and winner of the Hot Water Comedy Club New Comedian competition in 2014. His high energy, imaginative style has been winning over audiences ever since.
His debut solo hour ‘Accumulator’ played to sold out crowds at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2018, and he co-created the cult hit 'The Not So Late Show with Ross and Josh' and the viral sensation 'UK Garage Horse Racing'.
