How this is possible remains a mystery. \n“A top class comic” - Birmingham Mail \n“a genuine laugh every ten seconds... a stand-out show of excellent quality” - Broadway Baby \n“shows scant regard for the hackneyed conventions of stand-up” - The Scotsman \n  \n \nDee Allum\nDee Allum is an award-winning stand-up comedian and writer. \nDee started her comedy career performing sketches with the Cambridge Footlights and wrote the prestigious Footlights Pantomime in 2018. The next Pub Landlord of comedy” - Hexham Courant \n“A very funny man with a big future ahead of him” - Corby Radio \n  \nNote: Line-ups are subject to change in extreme\, and unavoidable\, circumstances.\nShow may contain strong language and adult themes.\n\nTimings\nDoors open: 7:30pm\nShow starts: 8pm \n\nBuy tickets:\nTickets for this show are £12 each. SUMMARY:Horbury\, March 28th 2025
DESCRIPTION:Hilarity Bites Comedy Club feat. Steve Gribbin\, Kevin Daniel\, Si Beckwith\, and host Chris Brooker\nShow details:\n \nSteve Gribbin\nSteve Gribbin is a diminutive guitar-wielding satirist from Liverpool whose scabrous comedy songs and off the wall observations have made him one of the firm favourites of the comedy circuit. \nSteve’s original comedy songs combine razor sharp lyrics with tunes that put their foot in the door of your mind and refuse to leave. Firmly based in rock ‘n’ roll and refusing to pull no punches\, these are not the ‘oh so witty’ ditties of penguin-suited plink plonk piano playing posh gobs. They are that rarity – comedy songs which are actually funny. \nFor nine years Steve was the smaller one in the dynamic comedy duo Skint Video\, stalwart’s of the Edinburgh Festival\, appearing on countless television programmes such as Saturday Live\, radio such as The Mary Whitehouse Experience\, and their own show in 1992/3 Songlines (BBC Radio 1). Skint Video went their different ways in 1993\, since then Steve has been storming across the UK and Ireland as a solo artiste. \n“A comic animated by proper passion... a trenchant treat” - The Guardian \n“You can count the number of truly imaginative comic singers currently on the circuit on the fingers of one hand. One of this select band is Steve Gribbin” - Time Out \n“Satirical songs are hard to pull off successfully\, but if anyone can do it\, Steve Gribbin can. In fact\, he pulls it off with real aplomb” - The Independent \n  \n \nKevin Daniel\nKevin has established himself as one of the hottest newer acts on the comedy circuit\, working established comedy promoters across the UK\, his commanding stage presence\, relatable exquisite storytelling\, and jokes a plenty\, always leave audiences wanting more. \nIn his short comedy career. Kevin has performed at many comedy clubs including Blackpool Comedy Station\, The Stand\, Glee Club\, Just The Tonic\, Hilarity Bites\, Comedy Hot Spots\, Funhouse Comedy\, Big Deal Comedy\, and The Hull Comedy Lounge. Kevin has also supported Fiona Allen\, Nathan Caton and Jack Gleadow on their UK tours. \nIn 2023 Kevin performed his first solo work in progress show 'Freedom' to sold out rooms at the Leicester and Glasgow Comedy Festivals. He also took the show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for a small run of shows. \nIn both 2022 and 2023 Kevin reached the semi finals of the British Comedian Of The Year\, and in 2024 Kevin won the prestigious “Silver Stand Up” competition at the Leicester Comedy Festival. \n“Kevin has a natural ability to fill a room with laughter\, he's a genuinely funny guy” - Just The Tonic \n“Kevin is a phenomenally talented comic. He began with some very astute observations about the room\, which made his performance feel topical and special. The last time I saw KD\, I was tempted to leave the review at just one word – Wow - and tonight was much the same. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone go from gong show to headlining so quickly” - Notts Comedy Review \n  \n \nSi Beckwith\nSi Beckwith is a stand-up comedian and writer from Newcastle Upon Tyne. \nSi gigs regularly and prolifically\, up and down the country\, making sure to hone his craft on all manner of stages and is a respected\, reliable and most importantly very funny stand-up comedian who has a creative approach to all he does. \nSi has packed plenty in to a relatively short career\, first performing at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2013 in a two-handed show. He was a Harrogate Comedian Of The Year finalist in 2016. His show ‘Get Lush’ received some excellent reviews in 2019 and 2020 for performances at both Alphabetti Theatre and The Stand\, Newcastle. His most recent show ‘Bricks’ has been getting wonderful feedback from performances at Laurels Theatre and The Stand\, Newcastle. \n“Absurdly charming and funny” - NARC \n“Razor sharp wit” - The Crack \n“relaxes and charms\, but watch out for his vicious undertow” - BBC \n  \n \nChris Brooker\nOne of comedy’s heavy hitters\, Chris Brooker’s infectious energy and enthusiasm sweeps through a room like an irresistible force. Chris’ combination of hilarious\, original material and inspired improvisation means that you will never see the same routine twice. Immensely likeable\, there’s no doubting his ability to win over any crowd and drag them along for the ride. \nDescribed only half-accurately as comedy's ginger viking\, Chris has taken his brand of comedy and compering all over the UK as well to the US and Canada. In 2008 he made history when he became the first foreign player to be chosen for the All-Star team at the ComedySportz World Championship in Portland\, Oregon. Currently in high demand as an MC due to his ability to energise a room and think on his feet\, Chris is also a polished performer with three full length solo shows under his belt. The most recent of which\, Unstoppable\, played to glowing reviews on both sides of the Atlantic. \n“Very funny\, very quick... On the spot humour” - BBC \n“The best act of the night\, his quick wit silencing hecklers and getting plenty of laughs” - Manchester Evening News \n“A fitting finale\, had the audience in stitches” - Student Online \n  \nNote: Line-ups are subject to change in extreme\, and unavoidable\, circumstances.\nShow may contain strong language and adult themes.\n\nTimings\nDoors open: 7:30pm\nShow starts: 8pm \n\nBuy tickets:\nTickets for this show are £12.50 per person\, and can be bought from the link below\, See Tickets\, TicketMaster\, Skiddle\, or contact the venue directly.

DESCRIPTION:Hilarity Bitesize New Act & New Material Night\, with Sam Avery\, Laurence Tuck\, host Si Beckwith & support\nShow details:\n \nSam Avery\nSam Avery wanted to be a rock star. It nearly happened. \nDespite being signed up by BMG Records at the age of 17 (he had to resign from his beloved paper round)\, and subsequent tours with Motorhead and Ice T\, the story soon took a familiar turn. Contracts were anulled\, money was stolen and before he knew it he was back at the paper shop asking for his fluorescent bag back. He had crap hair anyway. \nSubsequent jobs (including a brief stint as a stockbroker) failed to excite him the way the smell of sweat and snakebite had and it wasn't long before he turned to stand-up\, soon making the final of the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year competition\, and finishing runner-up in the City Life North-West Comedian of the Year competition. \nFriendly and enthusiastic\, his observational style instantly puts audiences at ease allowing him to regale them with his tales of everyday life. Sam has gained a reputation for being able to spark the dullest of rooms into life with his warm\, infectious humour and quick wit which makes him ideal as either an act or compere. \nSam is also known as The Learner Parent\, the blog that he started which has lead to a best-selling book and sold-out UK tour. \n“Quick wit and painfully funny” - Metro \n“A must” - Sunday Times \n“A gifted storyteller” - The List \n  \n \nLaurence Tuck\nLaurence has been performing his dark and quirky stand up since 2008\, albeit with a six year hiatus in the middle\, and is now making waves in the North West comedy scene. \nIn 2012\, Laurence was a finalist of the Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year and winner of the Electric Theatre (Guildford) Comedy Festival Newcomer Competition \n“Inventively offbeat” - Chortle \n“Stunningly original jokes\, its been years since I've seen a new comedian with jokes this good” - Adam Bloom \n“'His writing is wonderfully creative and... extremely impressive” - Notts Comedy Review \n“Quirky and offbeat... DESCRIPTION:Hilarity Bites Comedy Club feat. Alex Boardman\, Alex Mitchell\, John Gibson\, and host Carl Jones\nShow details:\n \nAlex Boardman\nA lifelong comedy fan\, Alex Boardman stormed onto the scene and quickly became one of the most popular choices on the circuit during the late 90’s. A full time comic since 1998\, his skills as a writer have also been in constant demand for Britain’s most cutting edge prime time TV and Radio comedy shows. If you’ve found yourself falling off your chair in a fit of giggles watching TV’s latest successful comedy offering\, the chances are\, Alex is responsible. \nAlex is now one of the most sought after acts in the country due to his ability to interact with any audience and to seemingly conjure something out of nothing. His free flowing style and natural charm breeze through in performances. His unique brand of “flattery and abuse” is done with a lack of malice and a big sense of fun. \nAlex was one of a small band of writers who worked on the second series of John Bishop’s Britain on BBC 1 and he made a significant contribution to it being the highest rated stand up show of 2011 bringing in six million viewers a week. He has also written for performers as diverse as James Corden\, Lily Savage and Liza Tarbuck\, whilst he had a three year special hosting the Galaxy FM breakfast show in the late 2000s. \n“His tall tales can lead anywhere on any given night” - The Times \n“A rare mixture of wit and charm” - The Guardian \n“Probably the quickest I’ve ever seen\, certainly the funniest” - The Big Issue \n  \n \nAlex Mitchell\n2024 Britain's Got Talent finalist\nBritain’s Got Talent 2024 finalist Alex Mitchell is an autistic comic with functional neurological disorder (FND). Using self-deprecating humour - laughing at himself\, his neurodivergence\, disability\, and sexuality - to reflect on some of the most difficult subjects within his own life and wider society. \nHis debut show\, Tics Towards Puffection\, tackles his desperate obsession for perfection and being "the best version" of himself. He explores how and if he'll ever achieve this\, and how this has and continues to impact his life. Reflecting on society's perception of queer\, disabled\, and neurodiverse communities\, as well as his own perception of himself\, Mitchell creates a heartwarming\, emotional but always hilarious show. \nAlex was also won 'You Can Laugh You Know: Disabled Comedian of the Year 2023' and 'Beat The Frog Winner February 2024'. \n“funny and fearless” - Simon Cowell \n“Definitely one to watch\, very funny and unique” - Jack Gleadow \n“Tremendous” - Notts Comedy Review \n  \n \nJohn Gibson\nJohn Gibson makes people laugh. From the moment he stepped onto a stage in 2013 he never wanted to leave it. But he had to leave it\, because living on a stage simply wasn’t practical. \nA natural joke writer\, John was being paid to write and perform comedy within a year of his first appearance. Now a regular on the comedy scene\, he can be found providing laughs at comedy venues up and down the country. \nArmed with strong gags and a relaxed stage presence he impresses as a confident performer. Having been blessed with many physical imperfections John has a lot of raw material for his self-deprecating humour\, which he blends with observational comedy\, satire and one-liners. \n  \n \nCarl Jones\nMidlands comic Carl Jones first hit the circuit in 2011\, winning the Nottingham Comedy Festival Best Newcomer in his first handful of gigs. Since then\, he’s performed and written for the BBC’s comedy output and is a regular at some of the top comedy clubs across the UK. \nWith a growing reputation as an engaging storytelling comedian and welcoming MC who is able to play a variety of rooms\, he is a regular opener\, middle\, closer and host for a wide range of comedy clubs of all sizes across the UK. \nA huge football fan\, he’s also released two books about the beautiful game and can be heard interviewing comedy pals on his own Premier League nostalgia podcast When Football Began Again. \n“Very funny... a breezily entertaining half-hour from a likeable comic” - Chortle \n“The audience loved him from start to finish. His natural comic story-telling ability had them hanging on every word” - Hot Water Comedy \n“From the moment he came to the microphone\, he made the audience feel at home. Sharp\, quick on his feet and completely good-natured\, Carl set the audience up for a great night of comedy. Would highly recommend him as an MC for any occasion” - Stand Up at The Studio \n  \nNote: Line-ups are subject to change in extreme\, and unavoidable\, circumstances.\nShow may contain strong language and adult themes.\n\nTimings\nDoors open: 7:30pm\nShow starts: 8pm \n\nBuy tickets:\nTickets for this show can be bought online at www.bishopaucklandtownhall.org.uk\, in person from Bishop Auckland Town Hall\, or telephone 03000 269 524.

DESCRIPTION:Hilarity Bites Comedy Club feat. Craig Campbell\, Tom Little\, Patrick Draper\, and host Lee Kyle\nShow details:\n \nCraig Campbell\nA formidable stand up comedian\, Canadian-born Craig Campbell is one of comedy’s most charismatic and inventive performers. \nWith sold out runs at the Edinburgh Festival and performances at the Montreal Just For Laughs festival\, tours of Craig’s many solo shows have been extended due to popular demand. He has supported Frankie Boyle on tour and appeared as a featured guest live with Jim Carrey! \nCraig's TV appearances include Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC One)\, Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC Three)\, and Dave’s One Night Stand (Dave). \n“One of the finest comedians in the country\, no the world\, a well traveled genius” - Russell Howard \n“One of the most skilled storytellers and jokesmiths on the circuit... Craig is simply a very\, very funny man" - Chortle \n  \n \nTom Little\nTom Little is an award-winning comedian. In 2015 he won the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year (an award also won by acts such as Johnny Vegas\, Jason Manford\, Rhod Gilbert and Romesh Ranganathan) which he never stops banging on about. \nTom was also a BBC Radio New Comedy Award finalist and his 2018 Edinburgh show was nominated for the Amused Moose Comedy Award. He plays the well-read fool\, taking on hugely diverse facts\, but refusing to deal with them conventionally\, with a unique turn of phrase. \n“Inventive\, unexpected and often very silly…. He surely can’t remain a hidden treasure for long” - Chortle \n“A huge talent” - The Scotsman \n“His elevation to TV panel show favourite is surely only a matter of time” - The Wee Review \n“The real deal. An instinctive comedian with oodles of charm and a quirky\, frenetic intensity... If he cuts his energy levels by 10% he could end up in movies” - The Spectator \n  \n \nPatrick Draper\nSince Patrick first nonchalantly ambled onto the stage in October 2011\, he has cemented his place on the UK comedy circuit with a mixed bag of deadpan jokes\, visual gags and songs. \nAfter making it to the finals of the English Comedian Of The Year awards in 2015\, Patrick then took his debut show\, Absolutely Vacuous to the Edinburgh Fringe festival\, where his laissez-faire hour of comedy received a “Highly Recommended Show” accolade from Fringe Review\, amongst other glowing critiques. Patrick can now be found making people laugh in some of the most prestigious comedy clubs all over the UK \n“His unenthusiastic style has a nice\, unhurried rhythm...” - Chortle \n  \n \nLee Kyle\nIn his never ending quest not to have a proper job\, Lee Kyle spent time as part of an all male Spice Girls tribute act before spending a decade as a professional wrestler. \nManaging the difficult trick of being both odd and relatable\, he did a show at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2013 that he heard was well received but he doesn't read reviews because his psyche is too fragile to handle them so he isn't totally sure what they said. \nArmed with props and a rapid gag rate he cuts a confident\, if off-beat figure on stage. His jokes veer between the clever and the silly and deliver more than their fair share of belly laughs. \n“Had everyone on their feet - Sublimely ridiculous” - The Northern Echo \n“A brilliant performance.. Pure genius!” - NARC Magazine \n“Quirky and original - the highlight of the night” - Giggle Beats \n  \nNote: Line-ups are subject to change in extreme\, and unavoidable\, circumstances.\nShow may contain strong language and adult themes.\n\nTimings\nDoors open: 7:30pm\nShow starts: 8pm \n\nBuy tickets:\nTickets for this show are £12 each. His jokes veer between the clever and the silly and deliver more than their fair share of belly laughs. \n“Had everyone on their feet - Sublimely ridiculous” - The Northern Echo \n“A brilliant performance.. Pure genius!” - NARC Magazine \n“Quirky and original - the highlight of the night” - Giggle Beats \n  \nThis show will also feature a newer act in the middle. \n  \nNote: Line-ups are subject to change in extreme\, and unavoidable\, circumstances.\nShow may contain strong language and adult themes.\n\nTimings\nDoors open: 7:30pm\nShow starts: 8pm \n\nBuy tickets:\nTickets for this show are £10 per person\, with doors opening at 7:30pm and the show starting at 8pm. DESCRIPTION:Hilarity Bites Comedy Club feat. Steve Day\, Becky Umbers\, and host Aaron Twitchen\nShow details:\n \nSteve Day\nSteve Day describes himself as Britains only deaf comedian\, and if there are any others then he hasn't heard. Actually there are a couple of others who have started since he wrote that joke\, but it's only a joke after all. \nFor the past dozen years Steve has been performing to huge laughter around the country and abroad - well\, they tell him the laughter was huge to humour him\, he doesn't know either way. \nMarried with five children (a fact nothing to do with not being able to hear the word 'No') Steve has been described as 'warm and witty' by the Scotsman and has received many other rave reviews whilst performing shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Chortle gave him five stars in 2007 for Deafy's Island Discs\, a show The Sunday Times called 'Funny and Moving'. \n“Revelatory and very funny” - The Guardian \n“Warm\, funny\, frank and thought-provoking” - The Scotsman \n“Wonderful” - Bath Chronicle \n  \n \nBecky Umbers\nA small girl that gets big laughs\, Becky Umbers is a multi-award winning comedian from New Zealand. With a unique take on life\, and the voice to match\, Becky won Best Debut at the 2019 New Zealand International Comedy Festival and was nominated for Best Female Comedian NZ 2022 at the NZ Comedy Guild Awards. \nDelivering an expertly crafted mixture of quirky storytelling and cheeky observations with a sly grin\, she’s already made her mark in New Zealand and is ready to bring her charming sense of humour to the UK comedy scene. \n“Becky Umbers quite knocks me over. She has developed a marvellous persona that’s a cross between a Barbie doll with a voice like water noisily going down a drain and a low-esteem item of jailbait” - Theatrereview.org.nz \n“Umbers had us in stitches with her side-splitting stories…I felt that I was in a safe space\, listening to the hilarious stories of someone I had known for years” - Ratworld Magazine \n  \n \nAaron Twitchen\nAaron Twitchen is a stand up\, actor\, aerialist\, and living stereotype. \nAs well as featuring on BBC Radio 4\, he was listed in Metro's top 5 RomComs and has provided tour support for Luisa Omielan. He has also been releasing his sketch series\, DiscoBlonde\, in weekly instalments\, and in its first six weeks it has enjoyed upwards of eighteen thousand views. \nAway from comedy\, Aaron has supported bands at music festivals\, and is an accomplished stage actor and improviser. Unusually\, he is also a trained circus act\, concentrating particularly on aerial skills and trapeze work\, which has allowed him to tour circus theatres throughout the country and teach young people. \n“Twitchen's a terrific host\, kind and self-deprecating with plenty of catty put-downs” - The Skinny \n“Twitchen is an assured stand-up and navigates both his material and his venue with style... He is a flexible improviser\, in tune with the spirit of live comedy” - Broadway Baby \n“Hilarious\, warm\, energetic and capable of busting some serious moves. Twitchen is a quadruple threat” - The Skinny \n  \nNote: Line-ups are subject to change in extreme\, and unavoidable\, circumstances.\nShow may contain strong language and adult themes.\n  \n\nTimings\nDoors open: 7:30pm\nShow starts: 8pm \n\nBuy tickets:\nTickets for this show are £10 per person and are only available to buy from TicketSource. DESCRIPTION:Hilarity Bites Comedy Club feat. Daliso Chaponda\, Sam Avery\, Al Stevenson\, and host Dave Twentyman\nShow details:\n \nDaliso Chaponda\nBritain's Got Talent finalist 2017\nDaliso shot to fame on Britain’s Got Talent and has gone on to amass over 100 million YouTube views\, write and star in his critically acclaimed Radio 4 show Citizen of Nowhere\, and appear on QI\, The Apprentice: You’re Fired\, News Quiz and The Now Show. \nDaliso began his comedy career in Canada with the acclaimed one man show ‘Feed This Black Man’. Following this\, he began honing his craft in comedy clubs across the country\, and now he regularly appears in comedy clubs and theatres across the around the world. He has been part of the Melbourne\, Edinburgh\, Singapore\, Cape Town\, and Montreal Festivals\, as well as touring the UK. \nIn addition to stand up and radio\, Daliso is also a prolific fiction writer. He has published science fiction\, murder mysteries and fantasy fiction in numerous magazines and anthologies. \n“Full of sharp one-liners and well crafted gags... a real talent to look out for” - ★★★★ - Metro \n“He is hot property” - Evening Standard \n“An expert entertainer. Gets laughs from topics other comedians shun” - The Guardian \n  \n \nSam Avery\nSam Avery wanted to be a rock star. \n“Quick wit and painfully funny” - Metro \n“A must” - Sunday Times \n“A gifted storyteller” - The List \n  \n \nAl Stevenson\nAl Stevenson is the quick-witted\, sharp-tongued lad of Newcastle! \nHis charm allows him to tear through audiences with rapid fire\, all whilst getting away with it through a cheeky grin. \nAlthough he is newer on the circuit\, his talents have already seen him rise to the finals of Beat The Frog World Series\, beating hundreds of acts to do so\, and to host and headline prestigious venues such as The Stand Comedy Club in Newcastle. \nHis humour has caught the eye of his fellow comics\, leading to him performing tour support spots for Mark Nelson\, Lauren Pattison\, Matt Reed\, and even international comic Kevin James Thornton! \n“Al Stevenson combines the blunt double-entendres of Julian Clary with the bored\, world-weariness of Jo Brand” - Chortle \n“Blisteringly confident and deliriously lurid crowd work” - NARC \n“Destined to be a stand up comic” - Lost Voice Guy \n  \n \nDave Twentyman\nAffable\, quick-witted banter merchant\, Dave Twentyman survived a childhood in St Helens by evolving rapid\, startlingly-bright patter and a smile that he somehow stole from Barry Manilow. This is a man who could teach Teflon a trick-or-two but who remains vastly more fun than your average frying-pan. What higher praise can there be? \nNo matter what your mood\, you really can't help but warm to Dave. He puts a big smile on everyone's face. His chatty\, cheeky style endears him to the toughest of crowds. Dave talks a lot about the subjects closer to home\, such as family life & friends. Its lighthearted\, positive fun\, you can't help relating to. \nA regular performer at many of the best weekend clubs in the country\, Dave has also performed at a number of music festivals over the years such as Leeds\, V Festival\, Download\, etc \n “Thoroughly impressed\, best I've seen in ages. Great warmth and style” - Dave Spikey \n“F**king Brilliant” - John Bishop \n“Really like his stuff” - Jason Manford \n  \nNote: Line-ups are subject to change in extreme\, and unavoidable\, circumstances.\nShow may contain strong language and adult themes.\n\nTimings\nDoors open: 7:30pm\nShow starts: 8pm \n\nBuy tickets:\nTickets for this show are £12.50 per person\, and can be bought from the link below\, See Tickets\, TicketMaster\, Skiddle\, or contact the venue directly.

DESCRIPTION:Hilarity Bites Comedy Club feat. Nick Doody\, Patrick Draper\, and host Andy Fury\nShow details:\n \nNick Doody\nDave Gorman tour support\nNick Doody has been performing comedy since the 90s when\, as a student\, he got off to a pretty good start by supporting the legendary Bill Hicks\, at Bill's request. A little later\, Nick was a finalist in Channel 4's So You Think You're Funny? competition. \nSince then he has performed all over the world: Ireland\, France\, Spain\, Switzerland\, Germany\, The Netherlands\, Dubai\, United Arab Emirates\, Qatar\, Hong Kong\, Thailand\, Malaysia\, Estonia... You get the idea. He was the first British comedian to perform in Croatia. \nNick has appeared on various radio and TV shows\, and is also much in demand as a writer. He has penned jokes for Joan Rivers\, Lenny Henry\, Dame Edna Everage and an uncomfortable number of Mock The Week regulars. He was also the creator and head writer of Bigipedia\, a critically acclaimed Radio 4 show that broadcast in 2009 and 2011. \nIn 2006\, Nick performed his first solo Edinburgh Festival show\, Before He Kills Again. The show received rave reviews and sold out for the whole festival\, leading to a run at the Soho Theatre. Since then\, Nick has written and performed another six solo hours of stand-up\, including the most honest title ever to appear on a poster\, Look At This Massive Picture Of My Face. \n“All hail Nick Doody... true comedy gold: polished\, rich in material and a find among all the fools” - Metro \n“This is simply the best unadulterated\, gimmick-free hour of pure stand-up I’ve seen so far this Fringe” - Chortle \n“A no-nonsense stand up comic who is genuinely funny” - Three Weeks \n  \n \nPatrick Draper\nSince Patrick first nonchalantly ambled onto the stage in October 2011\, he has cemented his place on the UK comedy circuit with a mixed bag of deadpan jokes\, visual gags and songs. Patrick can now be found making people laugh in some of the most prestigious comedy clubs all over the UK \n“His unenthusiastic style has a nice\, unhurried rhythm...” - Chortle \n  \n \nAndy Fury\nDespite starting comedy out of “sheer boredom” just a few years ago\, Andy Fury has impressed a lot of people in a short space of time with a wonderful mix of self-deprecating dark jokes and off the wall surrealism. \nWith a laidback stage presence that sometimes borders horizontal\, he’s as hard-working as he is funny and winning the Hilarity Bites New Act Of The Year 2010 title has put Andy on the path to working at many of the best clubs in the country\, wowing audiences the length and breadth of the UK. \n“An absolute genius of a comedian” - BBC \n“Brilliant... The next Pub Landlord of comedy” - Hexham Courant \n“A very funny man with a big future ahead of him” - Corby Radio \n  \nThis show will also feature a newer act in the middle. \n  \nNote: Line-ups are subject to change in extreme\, and unavoidable\, circumstances.\nShow may contain strong language and adult themes.\n\nTimings\nDoors open: 7:30pm\nShow starts: 8pm \n\nBuy tickets:\nTickets for this show can be bought online at www.bishopaucklandtownhall.org.uk\, in person from Bishop Auckland Town Hall\, or telephone 03000 269 524.
