He discovered stand-up soon after and has gone to sell out his show Greek Tragedy at the Melbourne Comedy Festival\, and support Luisa Omielan on her Am I Right Ladies tour. A keen fan of Rik Mayall\, French and Saunders\, Victoria Wood\, and Joan Rivers\, as well as Katherine Ryan\, Tim Minchin\, Amy Schumer\, and Luisa Omielan\, Jules states her stand-up style is “Butter wouldn’t melt meets Is That All There Is?” (a reference to the dark song made famous by singer Peggy Lee). \nAn English Tutor in her day life\, Jules performed a sell-out ‘triple-header’ show at 2021’s Birmingham Comedy Festival\, and in the sam year was shortlisted for the Funny Women award. Jack Carroll\, Anth Young\, Dawn Bailey\, and host Jon Pearson\nShow details:\nReplacing Rob Rouse:\n \nJack Carroll\nJack Carroll is a comedian\, actor and writer. Aged 11\, he starred in CBBC sketch show Ministry of Curious Stuff with Vic Reeves\, going on to win a Pride of Britain award at 12\, was runner-up on Britain’s got talent aged 14 and was nominated for a National Soap Award aged 15 for his appearance in Doctors. What he did when he was 13 remains a mystery. \nSince then\, Jack made stand-up appearances on Live at the Apollo and Frankie Boyle’s New World Order\, has acted in 4 series of the Sky One Sitcom Trollied and starred in feature film Eaten By Lions. As well as acting and stand up\, he is a graduate of the BBC Writersroom. \nJack recently wrote and starred in the BAFTA award-winning short form comedy pilot ‘Mobility’ for the BBC.
