Show details:

Marc Jennings

Marc Jennings

Scottish comedian Marc Jennings is one of the country’s strongest up-and-coming comedic talents.

Marc is a regular panellist and writer on BBC Scotland’s satirical news show Breaking the News, has performed stand-up on BBC Scotland TV series The Comedy Underground , and Edinburgh Unlocked and is the host of the popular Some Laugh podcast.

In 2023 Marc sold-out The King’s Theatre in his hometown of Glasgow, where he recorded his first stand-up comedy special “Original Sound”. He sold-out his Edinburgh Festival runs in 2022 & 2023, performed at the Perth and Adelaide Fringe Festivals in Australia, and has had several of his stand-up routines reach over 5 million views online.

“An astute observer who's accomplished at channeling his frustrations into a wider social critique” - Chortle

“Killer lines” - The Scotsman

“In years to come will be a household name” - The Wee Review

Peter Edge

Peter Edge

For most people, taking up something like golf, gardening or painting when they retire from full time employment might seem a sensible thing to do. Not for Peter Edge, who decided to take a stand up comedy course in late 2018 and he hasn’t looked back, entertaining audiences all over the country since, at many of the nation’s top comedy venues. He’s appeared at the Edinburgh festival (briefly) and he’s even won a couple of awards!

Drawing on his experience as an embattled Dad of three daughters, fighting against unfamiliar technology and his rapidly approaching ‘twilight’ years, he brings his stories to life in his own unique style with his “very clever writing” (Notts Comedy Review) and “impeccable delivery” (Rock Central Promotions). A self declared ‘Dinosaur in danger’ (Leicester Comedy Festival show 2024), who wonders if ‘Dignitas do Clubcard points?’ (Lancaster Comedy Festival 2024), there’s something in Peter’s act to challenge the strongest pelvic floor

“Relatable material delivered impeccably” - Rockcentral Promotions

Catherine Young

Catherine Young

Hilarity Bites New Act of the Year 2019

Winner of the Hilarity Bites New Act of the Year 2019, Catherine is quickly making a name for herself as one of the most exciting new acts to come out of the North-East in recent years.

Catherine occasionally absconds from Middlesbrough and the general misery of life, by running round the UK comedy circuit looking for anyone who will listen to her.

From North East and Irish decent, Catherine loves drinking, dancing and telling lies. Her comedy is light-hearted, full of mischievous stories and a warm and friendly humour that provides a short break from the stresses that life deals to us all.

This show will also feature support from several new acts, and established acts performing new material.

Note: Line-ups are subject to change in extreme, and unavoidable, circumstances.

Show may contain strong language and adult themes.
