Larry Dean

Larry Dean is an award-winning comedian, writer and actor.

Larry has been nominated for the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Awards three times for his sell-out, critically acclaimed solo stand up shows, and his stand up special Fandan, was released last year and aired on Channel 4.

He has performed multiple tours across the UK and Ireland and has built a strong international fanbase with regular appearances at Melbourne International Comedy Festival, New Zealand Comedy Festival, Perth Fringeworld and Just For Laughs in Montreal. He made his New York touring debut in 2023 with his show, Fudnut and he is currently on his biggest tour to date with his brand new show, Dodger.

Larry's TV credits include Royal Variety Performance 2024, two appearances on Live at the Apollo (once as host), Mock the Week, House of Games, Roast Battle, World’s Most Dangerous Roads, The Stand Up Sketch Show, The Comedy Roast for SU2C, and Michael McIntyre’s Big Show. Larry was the host for the Scottish Heat of the BBC’s New Comedy Awards 2023-2024. Larry is the co-host of BBC Sounds podcast, Famously… On Trial, alongside Stacey Dooley.

Larry was recently seen in the feature film This Time Next Year (a Top Ten movie on Netflix) and has other acting projects in the pipeline.

Lou Conran

Having trained as an actress, Lou has appeared in various guises on tele and in the theatre, including, Pressgang (ITV), Jo Brand Through the Cakehole (Channel 4), The Borrowers (National Tour), numerous productions for the Edinburgh Festival and the more challenging and ground breaking role of Sara Bear, for three long series, in CITV's, classic and memorable, the "Teddybears". (No, no one else has heard of it either).

Lou's comedy career started back in the mid 90's, doing improv comedy with various groups in and around London. This has continued into the naughties with her move to Manchester, where she began her stand-up career in 2005. Having made the final of several new-act competitions in the mid naughties, she has continued to gig at many of the biggest clubs in the country as both an act and a compere. Lou is also a founder member of the Smirking Room comedy clubs in Manchester & Leeds where she comperes regularly.
