Bethany Black

Bethany Black has been a professional stand-up comedian since 2004. Her debut show 'Beth Becomes Her' detailed the story of her being transgender, chronicling everything from her coming out through her transition and eventually falling in love. It was nominated for Best Debut at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2008, eventually losing out to Sarah Millican.

Over the course of her career Beth has performed alongside some of the biggest names in comedy, including Alan Carr, Sarah Millican, Tim Minchin and Rhys Darby.

In late 2017 / early 2018 Beth filmed the role of Pocahantas for No Offence. Prior to which, in 2015 she was cast as Helen in Russell T. Davies multi channel shows Cucumber, Banana, and Tofu, where she was the first trans actress to play a leading role. In late 2015, Beth played 474 in Doctor Who.

Multi-award winning stand-up comedian Jack Gleadow is one of the most unique performers on the UK comedy circuit today. He takes his inspiration from the golden era of variety; Jack is the One-Man Variety Show with the use of sounds, stories, jokes and a scooter!

In the words of Leicester Comedy Festival, after winning the prestigious 2018 Leicester Mercury Comedian of The Year award, "Jack bowled over the judges with his quirky set; a delightful blend of audience participation, wordplay and physical comedy".

Jack is in huge demand on the live comedy scene. As well as performing across the top UK comedy club such, Jack performed at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe where he performed every day as part of the Pleasance Comedy Reserve. He has also been on the road as tour support for Lloyd Griffith, and featured at Latitude festival’s main comedy arena - to a mere 3,500 people!

Carl Jones

Midlands comic Carl Jones first hit the circuit in 2011, winning the Nottingham Comedy Festival Best Newcomer in his first handful of gigs. Since then, he’s performed and written for the BBC’s comedy output and is a regular at some of the top comedy clubs across the UK.

With a growing reputation as an engaging storytelling comedian and welcoming MC who is able to play a variety of rooms, he is a regular opener, middle, closer and host for a wide range of comedy clubs of all sizes across the UK.

A huge football fan, he’s also released two books about the beautiful game and can be heard interviewing comedy pals on his own Premier League nostalgia podcast When Football Began Again.
