Lou Conran\, Susan Murray\, and host Al Stevenson\nShow details:\n \nLou Conran\nWinner Best MC - 2020/21 Comics Comic AwardFunny Women Finalist - Best Show AwardRegular host of the BBC Radio 4 Extra Comedy Club\nHaving trained as an actress\, Lou has appeared in various guises on tele and in the theatre\, including\, Pressgang (ITV)\, Jo Brand Through the Cakehole (Channel 4)\, The Borrowers (National Tour)\, numerous productions for the Edinburgh Festival and the more challenging and ground breaking role of Sara Bear\, for three long series\, in CITV's\, classic and memorable\, the "Teddybears". (No\, no one else has heard of it either). \nLou is a regular tour support for the likes of Sarah Millican\, Joe Lycett\, John Bishop\, Suzi Ruffell\, and Lucy Beaumont amongst others. She is also one half of the award nominated podcast Spit or Swallow podcast\, and the Tough Gig comedy podcast with her husband\, fellow comic Eddy Brimson. \nLou's comedy career started back in the mid 90's\, doing improv comedy with various groups in and around London. This has continued into the naughties with her move to Manchester\, where she began her stand-up career in 2005. Having made the final of several new-act competitions in the mid naughties\, she has continued to gig at many of the biggest clubs in the country as both an act and a compere. She’s wrote for and was a guest on Jeremy Hardy Talks To The Nation and has also starred in Stephen K Amos’ Idiots Guide both for Radio 4. \nShe has penned 4 successful solo shows at the Edinburgh Festival as well as performing in several comedy plays and sketches. She made her TV acting debut in the 3rd series of ITV’s “The Job Lot” alongside Jo Enright and Russell Tovey. She is currently presenting on East London Radio and is about to go on tour with Britain’s Got Talent star Daliso Chaponda. \nNot only that Susan has penned a chapter about comedy in Counter Culture UK A Celebration. \nSusan has also written and starred in the topical web show ‘Britain’s Got People’ with Dave Cohen ( Have I Got News For You/ Horrible Histories). Susan is working nationally for the majority of promoters and clubs in the UK and has gigged internationally; Quatar\, Dubai\, Abu Dhabi\, China\, Malaysia\, Indonesia\, Germany\, Luxembourg\, Brussels\, Ireland.
