Angelos Epithemiou\, Steve Gribbin\, Catherine Young\, and host Phil Chapman\nShow details:\n \nAngelos Epithemiou\nCult favourite Angelos Epithemiou is the unwitting star of Shooting Stars (BBC2)\, Dave’s One Night Stand and Channel 4’s The Angelos Epithemiou Show. \nThink Little Britain meets Vic and Bob meets a smattering of Ivan Brackenbury and then lower your expectations and get on board. \nAngelos Epithemiou is the creation of critically acclaimed performer\, Dan Renton Skinner\, who has starred in such blockbuster films as The Spy Who Dumped Me\, High Rise\, and Swallows and Amazons for BBC Films and such TV serial-classics as The Tracy Ullman Show\, Friday Night Dinner\, and The Wrong Mans. \nOn 1 December 2019\, Epithemiou appeared on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch but only for the start of the show when guests are introduced followed by the first cooking item which he interrupted part-way through by walking into shot to announce that he was leaving! \n“He's shambolic\, weird\, wonderful\, and nothing is off the table when Epithemiou is in the building” - Laugh Out Loud Comedy \n  \n \nSteve Gribbin\nSteve Gribbin is a diminutive guitar-wielding satirist from Liverpool whose scabrous comedy songs and off the wall observations have made him one of the firm favourites of the comedy circuit. \nSteve’s original comedy songs combine razor sharp lyrics with tunes that put their foot in the door of your mind and refuse to leave. Firmly based in rock ‘n’ roll and refusing to pull no punches\, these are not the ‘oh so witty’ ditties of penguin-suited plink plonk piano playing posh gobs. They are that rarity – comedy songs which are actually funny. \nFor nine years Steve was the smaller one in the dynamic comedy duo Skint Video\, stalwart’s of the Edinburgh Festival\, appearing on countless television programmes such as Saturday Live\, radio such as The Mary Whitehouse Experience\, and their own show in 1992/3 Songlines (BBC Radio 1). Her comedy is light-hearted\, full of mischievous stories and a warm and friendly humour that provides a short break from the stresses that life deals to us all. \n  \n  \n \nPhil Chapman\nPaul Smith Tour Support\nPhil Chapman is one of the most prolific writers on the circuit\, ensuring his material is up to date and the audience get a fresh show every time they see him. His work rate has not gone unnoticed and in the past he’s been invited to write for BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz and BBC Radio 4 Extra’s Newsjack. \nA quick wit and a constant turnover of material have ensured he has become a highly sought after act and MC. He’s a regular host at the world famous Hot Water Comedy Club as well as many other major clubs in the UK as well as abroad\, and Phil has a wealth of material and sketches available online.
