It nearly happened. \nDespite being signed up by BMG Records at the age of 17 (he had to resign from his beloved paper round)\, and subsequent tours with Motorhead and Ice T\, the story soon took a familiar turn. Contracts were anulled\, money was stolen and before he knew it he was back at the paper shop asking for his fluorescent bag back. He had crap hair anyway. \nSubsequent jobs (including a brief stint as a stockbroker) failed to excite him the way the smell of sweat and snakebite had and it wasn't long before he turned to stand-up\, soon making the final of the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year competition\, and finishing runner-up in the City Life North-West Comedian of the Year competition. \nFriendly and enthusiastic\, his observational style instantly puts audiences at ease allowing him to regale them with his tales of everyday life. His unique brand of musical comedy is smart and silly in equal measure and he can boast an impressive stock of quirky\, and very funny\, musical one-liners. \nIn 2013 Tom reached the final of the prestigious So You Think You're Funny? competition\, previously won by Dylan Moran\, Lee Mack and Peter Kay. In 2014\, he reached the final of the Hobgoblin Comedy Award and\, the following year\, won the inaugural Great Yorkshire Fringe New Comedian of the Year competition. \nRecently\, Tom has performed on Radio 2 and Radio 4 Extra as part of the BBC Radio New Comedy Award and has supported Simon Munnery on tour. \n“His brand of nervous\, neurotic musical comedy is an absolute delight” - The Skinny \n  \n \nJon Pearson\nJon began standup comedy in 2010\, with his first performance at Birmingham’s Highlight Comedy Club. Cut to the present and Jon has become a regular face on the circuit\, performing at prestigious clubs such as The Glee\, The Boat Show & The Comedy Store\, Jon’s career has even taken him overseas with performances in Spain\, Norway and even as far away as Wigan (it is like being on another planet). \nJon is also a familiar face on at comedy festivals across the UK having taken three solo shows to the Leicester\, Nottingham & Edinburgh festivals with the highlight of the all coming in the form of a sold out show at his home town Melton Theatre in Melton Mowbray. \nJon has also provided tour support for Darren Harriot on his UK 2018/2019 tour and Lucy Porter on her UK 2017 tour. Jon’s laid back storytelling has audiences hanging on his every word.
