DESCRIPTION:Hilarity Bitesize New Act & New Material Night\, with Anth Young\, Si Beckwith\, host Andy Fury & support\nShow details:\nReplacing James Cook:\n \nAnth Young\nAnth Young is one of the hottest new acts in the North East\, having finished highly in a raft of new act competitions in the last few years\, as well as performing to huge audiences in theatres around the country as tour support to Carl Hutchinson. \nA regular at comedy clubs around the UK\, Anth's career has really blossomed since finishing as runner-up in the Great Yorkshire Fringe New Comedian of the Year competition in 2017 - a year which also saw him placing highly in the hugely competitive English Comedian of the Year competition\, and being a finalist in the North East New Act of the Year competition. \n“Delightfully blunt and immensely endearing” - BBC \n“...he has long career ahead of him” - Broadway Baby \n  \n  \n \nSi Beckwith\nSi Beckwith is a stand-up comedian and writer from Newcastle Upon Tyne. \nSi gigs regularly and prolifically\, up and down the country\, making sure to hone his craft on all manner of stages and is a respected\, reliable and most importantly very funny stand-up comedian who has a creative approach to all he does. \nSi has packed plenty in to a relatively short career\, first performing at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2013 in a two-handed show. He was a Harrogate Comedian Of The Year finalist in 2016. His show ‘Get Lush’ received some excellent reviews in 2019 and 2020 for performances at both Alphabetti Theatre and The Stand\, Newcastle.
