Kerr\nBritain's Got Talent finalist 2018\nLeeds-based comedian and social commentator\, Micky P Kerr is a breath of fresh air on the live comedy circuit. Fusing together music\, spoken word and comedy\, with his tongue often planted firmly in his cheek\, Kerr has been described as the bastard spawn of John Cooper Clarke. \nAlready a familiar face on the live music circuit\, Micky turned his hand to stand-up comedy in 2013 and is rapidly becoming one to watch\, proving to be a massive hit with audiences and bookers alike. \nIn the short time he has been appearing on the comedy circuit he has already reached the semi-finals of both the So You Think You’re Funny and the BBC New Act competitions. He was also recently crowned Harrogate Comedy Festival New Comedian of the Year. \n2015 saw Micky record a live set for BBC Radio 1\, working on a new sitcom about his previous life as a primary school teacher and recording his latest album of music and comedy\, entitled Kerr in the Kerrmunity. In 2015 he won the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year (an award also won by acts such as Johnny Vegas\, Jason Manford\, Rhod Gilbert and Romesh Ranganathan) which he never stops banging on about. \nTom was also a BBC Radio New Comedy Award finalist and his 2018 Edinburgh show was nominated for the Amused Moose Comedy Award. He plays the well-read fool\, taking on hugely diverse facts\, but refusing to deal with them conventionally\, with a unique turn of phrase. \n“Inventive\, unexpected and often very silly…. His tales of mischief and the characters he creates have kept audiences all over the country enthralled as he weaves in and out of the people he has met travelling. His talent and likability coupled with a confident swagger see him as one of the most popular acts in the North. \nFresh from a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe\, where he received rave reviews\, Danny also recently performed a headline set at the Green Man festival in South Wales getting a great reception from the 400 people in the marquee and being asked to wrap up for Manchester band Doves after their headline set in front of 12\,000 people. \nOutside of live work Danny has made several TV and radio appearances. From being a guest on Radio GMR to having his own show "Afternoons with Danny Deegan" on CAT FM in Crewe.
