DESCRIPTION:Hilarity Bites Comedy Club feat. Christian Reilly\, Josh Elton\, and host Elaine Robertson\nShow details:\n \nChristian Reilly\nChristian Reilly is both a Perrier and Chortle award-winning musical comedian with “sex\, politics and rock 'n' roll” (The Scotsman) in the key of grrr. \nAs a former integral part of the Perrier award-winning show Otis Lee Crenshaw and the Black Liars\, with comic/songster Rich Hall\, Christian's career has taken him around the world three times. On his way\, he received accolades at international festivals and numerous network TV credits in the USA\, Australia\, New Zealand and Britain. \nNow a solo stand-up performer\, and headlining all the major comedy venues in his own right\, Christian uses his dynamic guitar and vocal skills to target histrionic rock bands\, musical theatre and morose indie musicians. He wrote and performed for 'That Was Then This Is Now' (BBC Radio 2) as musical counterpart to Richard Herring and Emma Kennedy\, as well as giving his improvisation skills an outing on Radio 2's 'Jammin'. \n“Blisteringly funny songs” - The Stage \n“If you’re a fan of Bill Bailey or Rich Hall\, you’re a Christian Reilly fan already” - The Guardian \n“The funniest songs I’ve heard in a long time” - The Scotsman \n  \n \nJosh Elton\nSwansea-born Josh Elton has over eight years and well over a thousand gigs under his belt on the Welsh comedy circuit. Now based in Cardiff\, this Jewish\, bilingual comic provides high-energy\, raucous humour\, proving a hit with any crowd. \nSince earning the title of the Welsh Unsigned Stand-Up of the Year award in 2017\, he has performed right across the UK including the Edinburgh Fringe\, Radnor\, Neath and Leicester Comedy festivals as well as at top comedy clubs including Stone Circle and The Glee Club. \n“Really\, really funny” - David Baddiel \n“Josh is a vibrant\, fun comic with loads of strong gags\, engaging stories\, and an exciting presence. Rocks every show” - Ignacio Lopez \n“Multi-talented and hilarious... an immensely funny performance dripping with confidence and self deprecation in equal measure” - The Glee Club \n  \n \nElaine Robertson\nWith a surreal eye for observational comedy and keen knack for audience interaction\, Elaine has been described as ‘Laugh out loud’\, ‘Natural\, effortless and off-the-cuff (The Cherwell) and a ‘Brilliant wit and comedic talent’ (Ed Fringe Review). \nIn 2022 Elaine was a Regional Finalist for BBC New Comedian of the Year. \n“I’ve been doing comedy for over 20 years and it’s very rare that I see someone who was born to do it. Elaine is one such person. effortlessly hilarious with original material I wish I’d thought of myself. If she doesn’t do well it’s to the detriment of comedy” - Matt Reed \n“A huge personality\, Elaine has a quality that is very rare in new comedians\, that being the ability to ad-lib and go with wherever the gig takes her. She's good now\, very good in fact but she could well develop into a truly special comic” - Felt Nowt Comedy \n“Laugh out loud\, natural\, effortless and off-the-cuff” - The Cherwell \n  \nThis show will also feature a newer act in the middle. \n\nTimings\nDoors open: 7:30pm\nShow starts: 8pm \n\nBuy tickets:\nTickets for this show are £12.50 per person\, and can be bought from the link below\, See Tickets\, TicketMaster\, Skiddle\, or contact the venue directly.
