Hilarity Bites Comedy Club feat. Michael Fabbri, Josh Elton, Seeta Wrightson, and host Jon Pearson
Show details:
Michael Fabbri
Michael Fabbri quickly stamped his mark on the UK circuit appearing in the 2003 final of Channel 4’s 'So You Think You’re Funny?' and rapidly earned a reputation as one of the most promising up and coming comedians on the circuit. Michael is now regularly booked to play major comedy clubs throughout the UK and all over the world, living up to that initial promise!
Michael has worked as a writer for Radio and TV, and recently had his own stand up series 'Dyslexicon' on BBC Radio 4. He has also performed several solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, and performed tour support for acts as diverse as Micky Flanagan, Lucy Porter, and Stephen K Amos.
Michael's comedy is affable and electric, with material that ranges from the cerebral to the smutty and all points in between.
“Exceptionally funny, extremely sharp, hugely enjoyable” - The Scotsman
“He is an amiable and engaging storyteller and his tales from various points in his life are liberally peppered with excellent punchlines” - The List
“Offbeat delivery and evocative, quirky characterisations” - Fest
Josh Elton
Swansea-born Josh Elton has over eight years and well over a thousand gigs under his belt on the Welsh comedy circuit. Now based in Cardiff, this Jewish, bilingual comic provides high-energy, raucous humour, proving a hit with any crowd.
Since earning the title of the Welsh Unsigned Stand-Up of the Year award in 2017, he has performed right across the UK including the Edinburgh Fringe, Radnor, Neath and Leicester Comedy festivals as well as at top comedy clubs including Stone Circle and The Glee Club.
“Really, really funny” - David Baddiel
“Josh is a vibrant, fun comic with loads of strong gags, engaging stories, and an exciting presence. Rocks every show” - Ignacio Lopez
“Multi-talented and hilarious... an immensely funny performance dripping with confidence and self deprecation in equal measure” - The Glee Club
Seeta Wrightson
2025 Female Pilot Club Winner and BBC New Comedy Awards semi-finalist, Seeta Wrightson is a Bradford-born comedian known for her sharp wit and engaging stories. Wrightson’s work often draws on her dual Asian and British heritage.
From humble (AKA very skint) beginnings growing up in Bradford, Seeta has wandered through life wondering where exactly she fits and has had a hell of an adventure figuring it out. And it is a never-ending stream of ridiculousness that provides the fodder for her comedy.
“She has jokes as fierce as her outfits. Love her” - Kiri Pritchard-McLean
Jon Pearson
Jon began standup comedy in 2010, with his first performance at Birmingham’s Highlight Comedy Club. Cut to the present and Jon has become a regular face on the circuit, performing at prestigious clubs such as The Glee, The Boat Show & The Comedy Store, Jon’s career has even taken him overseas with performances in Spain, Norway and even as far away as Wigan (it is like being on another planet).
Jon is also a familiar face on at comedy festivals across the UK having taken three solo shows to the Leicester, Nottingham & Edinburgh festivals with the highlight of the all coming in the form of a sold out show at his home town Melton Theatre in Melton Mowbray.
Jon has also provided tour support for Darren Harriot on his UK 2018/2019 tour and Lucy Porter on her UK 2017 tour. Jon’s laid back storytelling has audiences hanging on his every word. With tales based around his own life experiences, his anecdotes are relatable and certain to have audiences in hysterics.

“Brilliant” - Shropshire Star
“A natural ability for working an audience” - EdFringeReview.com
