Hilarity Bites Comedy Club feat. Andy White, George Rigden & host Freddy Quinne
Andy White is an energetic, confident and silly Brummie who combines silly voices and a mad afro to devastating comic effect. Andy has numerous media appearences, including the BBC New Comedy Awards on BBC Choice, Brand Spanking New on BBC Radio 7, and his winning performance on the Weakest Link comedian's special! His appearance on the BBC quiz show featured in his five star (***** Three Weeks) Edinburgh show, It Started With A Quiz in 2007. This followed on from his well-received one man show at the 2005 Leicester Comedy Festival: Young, Gifted and Beige.
Andy escaped from a call centre to become a stand up comic who mixes silly voices and faces with observational humour, topical humour and his mixed race background. He can do material that's clever, cheeky, sick or just silly and his performance can shift from deadpan to loud and physical. Andy has played to a wide variety of audiences, adults and children, both at home and abroad, in comedy clubs, theatres, universities, radio and TV shows, and at corporate entertainment events. He regularly headlines up and down the UK and has worked with all the major chains and comedy promoters along the way. Overseas, he's performed in Monte Carlo, Berlin, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai amongst others.

Rising star George Rigden is a Bristol-based musical comic who, despite having only been gigging since 2013, has already racked up hundreds of gigs and enjoyed success in a clutch of competitions.
He’s also gigged with the likes of Russell Howard, Stephen Merchant & Joe Wilkinson, and is the resident MC for legendary Bristol night, OPPO (founded by Mark Olver).
In 2015 George made his Edinburgh debut, having beaten off stiff competition to win a place in Bound & Gagged Comedy’s prestigious showcase ‘AAA’ at The Pleasance Edinburgh.
“Rigden is the result of a genetic mash-up between Mitch Benn and Tim Key, perhaps with a few strands of Ricky Gervais’s DNA thrown in... Very funny stuff” - Chortle
“Rigden’s musical comedy is deliciously dark... he is very good at working the crowd and of all tonight's acts he probably made the biggest impression” - Beyond The Joke
“George Rigden had the audience in his hands thanks to some great comedic timing, a little help from his guitar and a hint of David Mitchell in Peep Show” - Leicester Mercury
The winner of the 2013 Hilarity Bites New Act of the Year competition, Freddy Quinne's "uniquely northern observational humour" (Lancashire Evening Post) has seen a meteoric rise into some of the biggest clubs in the country. Quinne couples "clever, well placed gags" (Pickled Egg) together with a vulnerable persona for a unique experience which combines to make "a real tour de force performance" (Alex Boardman).
In 2014 Freddy was MC for the late show for the Big Value Show at the Edinburgh Fringe, one of the most prestigious showcases at the festival, and he returned to the Fringe in 2015, where he hosted the AAA Comedy Showcase at the Pleasance Courtyard. He also MC'd a showcase for online magazine and comedy reviewers The Skinny, as part of the Liverpool Comedy Festival, and he currently acts as a resident MC for over half a dozen comedy nights across the country as well as regularly compering some of the biggest comedy venues in the UK, including Frog & Bucket, and Just the Tonic.
Freddy's willingness to break away from his set and involve the crowd leads for an engaging and memorable set backed up with frantic energy and raw emotion.
“An impeccable set... a great storyteller with immense potential” - Worksop Guardian
“The hilarious Freddy Quinne managed to quieten the two worst hecklers with one perfectly judged line” - eFestivals

This show will also feature a newer act in the middle.
